Harry Maguire Lookalike Spotted in Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr: Who’s the Person With Close Resemblance to Manchester United Star?

This phenomenon is particularly evident when we chance upon uncanny resemblances or doppelgangers. It appears that the soccer world is not immune to such interesting turns of fate. In an interesting turn of events, a remarkable doppelganger of Manchester United player Harry Maguire has been spotted at Cristiano Ronaldo’s domestic side, Al Nassr. 

The intrigue has built even more among the fans after the images are being circulated among netizens. So the question remains- who exactly is this person who looks so much like the famous defender?! 

Who is the doppelganger of Harry Maguire in Al Nassr? 

Al Nassr goalkeeper Nawaf Al Aqidi recently posted an interesting story on his Instagram. The Saudi Arabian international took a selfie with a person and wrote a caption saying, “Harry Maguire” with two laughing and heart emojis. The reason Al Aqidi did this was because the person with whom he took the picture had similar features to the actual Manchester United and England defender, Maguire. Notably, the person who is in the selfie is David Oliva, who is one of the Al Nassr team staff members. 

Oliva works as a physiotherapist for the Riyadh-based club. Well, Oliva exactly doesn’t look like Maguire, but the doctor does have some identical features to the defender. He even smiles like the Red Devils’ center-back. We reckon that if Oliva shaves his beard, then he’s in for fooling anyone to say that he is Maguire.

Either way, it would be interesting to see how the actual Maguire reacts to Oliva’s selfie with Al Aqidi if he somehow comes across it. However, for now, he must have run into his potential transfer rumors of leaving Old Trafford.

Maguire set for a January exit?

According to the transfer rumor mill, Harry Maguire might be seeing the exit door at Manchester United. He has had a turnaround in form this season, having surpassed Raphael Varane in Erik ten Hag’s top list until suffering an injury setback against Bayern Munich. However, it seems his time at United is up.

Reports suggest that West Ham United are making progress toward acquiring the 30-year-old defender. Notably, the player was expected to move to East London this summer for a $35 million fee. But the negotiations over personal terms broke down. It remains to be seen what happens at this stage.
