The Miami run aside, his career has seen all the glitters in 2023, as he won a Ballon d’Or after lifting his first FIFA World Cup. Cherishing such an eventful year, Messi and Antonela are now walking into what will perhaps be an even more eventful and successful year.

As 2024 dawned, Antonela Roccuzzo took to Instagram with stunning pictures of herself, Messi, and the kids. They filled the Argentine household with lights and glitter, bringing a smile to every fan’s face as well.

Antonela Roccuzzo’s New Year post started with a picture of herself, Lionel Messi, and their three kids, Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro. “Feliz 2024,” (happy 2024), she captioned the post. Antonela paired a brown top with white flared pants. Meanwhile, Messi seems to have celebrated New Year’s Eve in Inter Miami style, wearing a pink t-shirt and shorts. The three kids mirrored their father, pairing stylish Dolce and Gabbana t-shirts with shorts and sneakers. In one picture, Lionel Messi was in a typical father-son pose, with all three sons around him and Ciro in his lap.

Shortly after Antonela’s update, Lionel Messi also hit Instagram with similar pictures from the New Year Eve’s bash. He is truly having a fun time with his wife and kids. It is anyhow much needed, as the player should rejuvenate himself for what lies ahead. The 2022 World Champion is going to see a busy year in 2024.

So much is happening for Messi in 2024

With the dawning of the new year, the American’s long wait to see Lionel Messi back will soon be put to an end. 2024 will see ‘Messimania’ part 2 in the MLS. Meanwhile, the 36-year-old is also busy with duties as Argentina’s captain. To serve his country, La Pulga will miss seven Inter Miami matches in 2024. But still, the US can see enough and even more of Messi. The US is hosting the 2024 edition of the Copa America. Furthermore, the final will be played in the Hard Rock Stadium, Florida. If Argentina makes it to the final, it will surely be a box office event, as South Florida holds a massive chunk of Messi fans.

Now, soccer fans will have to just wait and see how big of a gala 2024 will be for the Argentine captain.
