Speaking about Haaland, Neville said, “I saw him a lot last season because he commented on many City games for ‘Sky Sports’ and it’s incredible to see him. It’s a phenomenon when you see it on the pitch, it’s like something from outer space has landed at the Etihad Stadium and is playing against us mere human mortals.”

Erling Haaland broke the record for the most goal-scored in a single season last year. He broke the record on his debut season with City scoring 36 goals in 35 games. The Norwegian was also the top scorer in the Champions League. These accomplishments by Haaland are truly unworldly and it does make him look like an alien.

However, there was one thing that Jamie Carragher noticed that the Norwegian was never going to get good at. It did catch Haaland by surprise but it was Gary Neville who caught the steam from the remarks made on the City striker.
