The soccer universe understands Vinicius Junior as the rightful heir to Neymar’s throne for the last few years. The Brazilian winger also won multiple trophies, making significant contributions to the team when needed. However, a former soccer player criticized the Real Madrid left winger for his conduct on the pitch.

After the arrival of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius complemented the English midfielder, which reaped rewards in recent games. However, the team can sometimes drop below-average performance. And this time, they also blamed Vini for creating sketchy situations on the field.

Real Madrid initially had a slow start to the season, but last night’s draw against Rayo Vallecano would have hurt Los Blancos. In the scheme of things, an analyst criticized Vinicius Junior for his on-field behavior despite his impressive dribbles and attacking output. An analyst from beIN Sports stated that Vinicius creates unnecessary issues leading to complicated situations for the 14x Champions League champions. Wael Gomaa said, “Vinicius Junior creates problems out of nothing and always lives in the role of the oppressed. He is also a player who has great potential but wastes it on other things.”

The Brazilian is an energetic player on the field, but his passion can sometimes go overboard. Vinicius was acknowledged to have a lot of potential, but some pundits criticize him for the inability to use his potential to full flow despite suffering issues like racism. The analyst talks about his antics on the field, which can disrupt the whole momentum of the contest. They blamed the winger for going down quickly despite minimal contact from the opposing player.

The analyst and former Al Ahly player reminded Vinicius of donning the famous number 7 jersey of Cristiano Ronaldo, made famous by the Portuguese superstar. Even though Jude Bellingham provides match-winning performances, the team cannot just depend on the teenager to spark magical moments.

The Madrid number-seven missed a few clear-cut chances in the match. To make matters worse, he earned a yellow card in the 74th minute for arguing with the referee, verifying Gomaa’s prophecy. Yet, there are points in favor of the 23-year-old.
