In the case of Butler, after Selena Gomez once ghosted him, the NBA star’s name is now used in the same sentence as Shakira.

Shakira and her kids recently went to watch Miami Heat’s fourth game against Boston Celtics. While the final result turned out to be a disappointing one, the fans had their attention elsewhere. The Waka–Waka singer was quite active on her social media during the game. During the match, she strolled to the front rows and recorded a snippet of herself at the arena.

However, the night didn’t end too well for Miami Heat and their fans. The Latin American singer and her children also left the arena a little earlier than usual. They seem to be Miami Heat fans, as Milan and Sasha both sported official merchandise. This isn’t the first time that Shakira has attended a Heat game. Previously, she witnessed Butler’s masterclass comeback against Chicago Bulls.

However, the fans noticed some serious development on social media after the game. The Colombian icon surprisingly followed the NBA veteran on Instagram. Quite quickly, Butler reciprocated the action. It is safe to say that both sets of fanbase have gone berserk after the two of them followed each other on Instagram.

However, the singer reportedly ‘ghosted’ Butler to rekindle her relationship with Neymar Jr.

While the paparazzi once pictured them on a dinner date, the two of them were ‘causally dating’, as per reports. Eventually, the ever-famous singer denied any potential dating rumors with the NBA star in March 2021. Currently, everyone is still coming to terms with the Shakira – Butler combination. However, the NBA veteran might need to tread lightly considering the singer’s public feud with Gerard Pique.
