German Manager Hansi Flick attended a press conference ahead of their match against Spain. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. The same press conference is now being investigated by FIFA for breaking the rule, which according to the german manager makes no sense.
Germany broke the FIFA rule
According to reports, German management requested FIFA to have the conference at the german training base. All press interactions for FIFA WC are happening at IBC Doha. If any player was to come for a press conference, it would be a staggering 130.5 miles of traveling. Due to the distance between the two venues, the german manager insisted on having the press interaction without any player present.
The decision had come to haunt them as FIFA had clearly stated in their rulebook for FIFA WC 2022 that a player should be present for the press events. Breaking this rule for Germany can lead to monetary fines or, at worst, disqualification from the tournament.

Hansi Flick explained the situation and said, “I came alone because we didn’t want a player to spend three hours on the road to come… The 26 players are important and everyone has to focus on the game. I’m optimistic.”

Germany’s World Cup journey so far
Germany kicked the World Cup by getting blown by Japan in the second such upset in the tournament. Germany started that match by the players putting a protest before the match by keeping their hands on their mouths. They did this to demonstrate the fact that FIFA was silencing their voices. Which was followed by the devastating defeat against Japan.
Germany faced the entire world, trolling them for their performance. The team then faced Spain and managed to get a draw. However, the pre-match conference of that match is more in the news than the match. Fans are still hoping for Germany to qualify, however, they have to win with more than two goals and hope that Spain beat Japan.
