Gerard Pique, Shakira, and Clara Chia are making the news, especially after the Colombian singer released the diss track. Shakira’s diss track is aimed at mocking Pique, who cheated on her for his current girlfriend, Chia. However, Chia has been able to develop a great relationship with the former Barcelona star’s close circle, unlike Shakira.

Pique and Shakira announced their separation last year after 12 years of togetherness. It was heartbreaking for Shakira, who sacrificed her singing career to look after their children and stay with her partner n Barcelona. Shakira was never on good terms with the former Spanish defender’s close friends and family in their 12-year relationship.

On the other hand, Clara Chia’s situation is opposite to Shakira and is developing great relationships with Pique’s close friends and family. Chia’s calmer nature is the significant reason behind her getting along well with everyone around Pique.

The song was streamed 63 million times in the first 24 hours on YouTube, making it the first Latin song to do so. It is closing on 200 million views on YouTube within 15 days of its release. It topped the iTunes charts in the US, Mexico, and Italy on its release. 

The diss track became the first Latin song to cross 100 million streams on Spotify. Also, it was on the top charts of Spotify for three consecutive days after its release. It has helped Shakira to reignite her singing career again, and she is in the top 10 most-streamed female singers on Spotify. The Colombian is all set to make its debut on Billboard Hot 100 at #9 after 16 years.
