Gerard Pique Unsuccessfully Attempted to Reconcile With Shakira After Regretting Cheating With Clara Chia: REPORTS

The fans used to consider Shakira and Gerard Pique a ‘perfect’ couple when they were together. However, in 2022 the celebrity couple decided to split after Shakira caught Pique’s infidelity. While the couple has been living separately for months, some shocking news has just surfaced on the internet. Fans are stunned after getting to know that Gerard Pique tried to get back with Shakira after breaking up with her.

However, the Colombian star reportedly refused to start anew with Pique.

Pique tried to reconcile with Shakira!

Marca recently reported that the Spanish soccer star attempted to reconcile with Shakira just a month after breaking up. According to Marca, Jordi Martin from Univision believes that Pique felt an instant sense of regret after cheating on the Colombian star. Pique reportedly tried his best to try and convince Shakira about starting fresh all over again.

But the Colombian star did not listen to him. Pique reportedly only then went forward to start his new life with Clara Chia Marti. Since the breakup, Shakira has been living alone with the kids in the couple’s old apartment. The Spanish soccer star moved out to start a new relationship with his 23-year-old girlfriend.

Shakira also had a line about ‘getting back together’ in her new diss track. According to Genius, the lyrics translate to, “I won’t get back with you, not if you cry, not even if you beg me. It’s clear that it’s not my fault if they criticize you. I only make music, sorry if it splashes you.” It seems like the Colombian star is talking about the same time that Pique tried to reconcile with her.

However, just a few days ago, Shakira and Pique reunited again but just for their eldest son’s birthday. The fans appreciated Shakira’s gesture to let her child meet his father while she put her personal differences past her.

Shakira’s new single is very close to reaching 200 million views on YouTube. It’s important to remember that Shakira released her diss track just 13 days ago. In such a short span of time, this diss track has broken multiple records. Shakira and Bizarrap also just featured at #9 on Billboard’s Top 100 chart.

The fans have also appreciated the Colombian star’s unfiltered image that she has always portrayed to her fans. Shakira has been very chirpy on her social media about different topics. However, the fans are now just relieved that she is finally happy for the first time since her breakup.
