The Latin American star’s ex from over two decades ago recently posted a video on social media asking her for another chance. The fans are still scratching their head while trying to figure out this new turn of the controversy.

The person in the limelight here is Osvaldo Rios. The Puerto Rican actor dated Shakira over twenty years ago, back in 1997. Their relationship stirred a lot of public controversies considering their gigantic age difference. At that time, Rios was 37 years old while the Colombian star had just turned twenty. Eventually, things did not work out in their favor and the celebrity couple split shortly.

However, Osvaldo Rios is back in the limelight after posting a shocking video on social media. Since then, clips of that video in which the actor shockingly asks his ex for another chance has gone viral. The Puerto Rican actor openly asks Shakira if she was open to reuniting with him again. He said, “Hello Shakira, I hope for a second chance after all these years, I want to see you soon, a little kiss”.

This video has shocked Shakira’s entire fanbase. However, the fans then realized that Rios had broken up with his partner just a month after Shakira broke up with Gerard Pique. The fans are still trying to collectively fathom the actor’s request. For the simple reason that, their relationship ended on a bad note, even though it was more than twenty years ago.

Shakira fires shots at Pique through a new diss track!

The Waka-Waka singer’s fans currently cannot stop vibing to her brand new diss track with Karol G. This time, the Latin American star has taken the opportunity to fire direct shots at both Pique and his new girlfriend too. A few lyrics of her new diss track read, “Seeing you with the new girl hurt me, but I’m now set on me. I’ve forgotten what we lived together, and that’s what you’re offended by”, as per Billboard.

She continued, “And even my life got better, you are no longer welcome here. And what your girlfriend slayed at me, that doesn’t anger me, it makes me laugh”. Through her new track, the Grammy Award winner has indirectly made it very clear to Pique that she isn’t bothered about him anymore. She also reiterated the sensitive topic that she wouldn’t be open to reconciling with him ever in the future.
