Shakira Acknowledges Italian Fan Who Travelled Thousands of Miles for Just an Autograph in Unique Fashion

Over the years, she has garnered a very loyal bunch of fans too. Time and time again, the fans have also proven that they will stand with the singer no matter what happens.

Recently, a Shakira fan crossed every limit after he traveled thousands of miles for an autograph. The fans were initially bemused at this decision and thought that it would be a waste.

However, everyone was stunned after the Colombian star actually responded to the entire situation.

A fan from Italy decided one day to do something outrageous. He decided to drive all the way from Italy to Barcelona, Spain, for the Grammy winner’s autograph. And his car was Twingo, which was mentioned in her mega-hit diss track. Many fans considered this madness, but some fans did appreciate the Italian’s commitment to the same.

The fan kept updating his followers with real-time updates on his journey. Fortunately, his social media buzz caught the pop star’s attention.

Davide, the crazy Shakira fan, managed to get her attention. However, he had to do no more. The Latin American star took up the initiative to fulfill her fan’s dream. Davide was supposedly waiting outside her house itself. The pop icon sent out her brother to greet the fan. Tonino, her brother then dismantled the Twingo’s trunk and took it inside their garage.

A few minutes later, Tonino returned with an autographed trunk for Davide. Fans from all over the universe appreciated the Waka-Waka singer’s humility and respect towards her fans, even at that stature. Davide happily returned home, but this story had definitely set an example for every other artist out there.

The Grammy Award winner celebrated her birthday earlier this month. It’s safe to say that she received one of the warmest receptions from her fans. The 46-year-old was out in public with her kids and a few close friends and family. The fans gathered outside the area and patiently waited for their idol.

Sometime later, Shakira did leave everything and came to address her fans. It was an extremely heart-warming moment between Shakira and her fanbase.

The Colombian star’s fans gathered around her and couldn’t stop shouting her name in excitement. The birthday girl was extremely overwhelmed by the scene and couldn’t control her tears of joy. She posed for a few pictures but then walked right past the crowd. Apart from that, Shakira also occasionally comes to her balcony to talk to a few paparazzi once in a while.
