At just 14, is Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. already proving he's got what it takes to surpass his dad?

There’s no greater pride for a father than seeing his son succeed. Cristiano Ronaldo‘s eldest son, Cristiano Jr., is following in the footsteps of his trailblazing father, as he dreams of becoming as successful as the Portuguese icon. But it looks like Junior is already ahead of his age as Georgina Rodriguez has shed on how the 14-year-old has become a global ‘role model’.

The acknowledgment was made in the latest Season 3 release of her own Netflix documentary, ‘I Am Georgina.’ The Argentine-Spanish influencer shared how the eldest child of the Ronaldo family is making everyone proud. This feeling within Rodriguez came after she went to watch her action for Al Nassr Academy alongside the other kids of the house. “Cris is such a role model for so many boys and girls all around the world. And, at home, we’re very proud of that,” narrated Georgina in S3 EP2.

This can surely be counted as an achievement for Junior, considering his own dad got his first taste of fame as early as the age of 16. Of course, the key difference is that while Ronaldo Sr. had to work incredibly hard to reach his current level, Cris Jr. inherited much of his fame from the 39-year-old striker. Regardless, it seems like the teenager has taken full advantage of the platform and exposure he got from his dad to make himself a specimen of a role model.

Being a star at such a young age is surely quite an accomplishment. Even on the pitch, Cristiano Jr. showcases promising signs of becoming successful like his dad. Earlier this year, he lifted a trophy with Al Nassr Academy and scored wonder goals like his dad does to this day. This surely is enough to make an impression on Georgina and Ronaldo.

“We’re super proud of Junior and the path he’s currently on. God blessed him with so many skills, and he’s got really good genes. So with Cristiano’s help, he can dedicate himself to the game of football,” Rodriguez narrated in S3 EP3. But then again, all that Junior is showcasing on the pitch, is because of Ronaldo.
