Does Cristiano Jr. have an unfair advantage, or is he just making the most of his opportunities?

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.‘s feats in Saudi Arabia might even make his father envy. In his inaugural season with the Al Nassr youth team, the 14-year-old lifted the league title. Meanwhile, Ronaldo has yet to set his hands on the Saudi League silverware. Thankfully, he is from the Ronaldo household, and the teenager gets all the opportunities to train like his father. CR7’s partner Georgina Rodriguez recently detailed how the 5x-Ballon d’Or winner is “helping” his son cherish his soccer dreams.

Amid her busy schedule as a supermodel, Georgina Rodriguez often finds time to attend football games. Besides Cristiano Ronaldo’s matches, the Argentine model has been a mainstay at Cristiano Jr’s U-13 games. In her Netflix documentary, I am Georgina, we could see her taking her youngest son to Cristiano Jr’s U-13 Saudi League game. When the camera showed the 13-year-old on the big screen, Georgina revealed Ronaldo’s son’s passion for the game and how the former supports it to the lengths.

“Junior has gotten really into soccer. He shows a lot of promise. His dad has arranged an extra trainer in addition to the club’s,” said Georgina in the fifth episode of the Netflix show, spilling the beans on Ronaldo’s splurge for his son. “So he trains with the club and trains with a trainer at home. Cris is helping him a lot,” the Argentine model added.

The anticipations were sky-high when Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq faced Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr on September 20. However, the game was one-sided, as Al Nassr thrashed Etifaq 3-0. Ronaldo started the riot by scoring a penalty. Immediately after the strike, the 39-year-old looked at his son in the stands and gestured three fingers. Notably, Cristiano Jr. scored a brace in the Al Nassr youth team’s 4-0 win against Al Qadsiah.

So, by showing three fingers, Ronaldo meant his penalty goal and his son’s brace added up to a hat-trick between the father and the son. Indeed, an enviable father-son equation that goes on in the sporting lore. This comes months after Ronaldo and his son posed together in the gym, confusing fans as to who was more ripped. Anyhow, Ronaldo, unlike LeBron James has not yet mulled over sharing the stage with his son. It looks like a distant dream, as Cristiano Jr is just 14 years old and CR7 is nearing 40.
