8 teams, 4 days, and a $1 million prize—a lot is at stake for the much-anticipated ‘TST,’ or ‘The Soccer Tournament.’ As the tournament has already begun, with the men playing in an expanded 48-team segment, it’s the inaugural women’s category that everyone is excited about. Wrexham Red Dragons is among the eight teams competing for the million-dollar prize over four days. So, which big names represent the women’s side of the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned club?

Seven players who have propelled Wrexham AFC Women to third place in the Welsh top flight this season will travel to North Carolina with manager Steve Dale. The squad includes Wrexham Women’s top goalscorer Rosie Hughes, midfielder Lili Jones, goalkeeper Del Morgan, captain Keren Allen, full-back Phoebe Davies, winger Carra Jones, and striker Ava Suckley. Former England international Carly Telford, who has previously played for Chelsea and San Diego, will join the team as a veteran.

Nicole Baxter, a former midfielder for Gotham FC who played in last year’s tournament for the US Women, will now feature for the Wrexham Red Dragons. Additionally, former Orlando Pride star and current Puerto Rico captain Nickolette Driesse adds depth to the squad. The team is further bolstered by three American players: Bridget Callahan, Danica Evans, and Lindsay Agnew. Completing the roster are ex-Gotham FC and Seville star Sabrina Flores, and former FC Kansas City defender Brianne Reed.

Who are the opponents of Wrexham Red Dragons Women in TST?

The Wrexham Red Dragons Women are drawn in Group A. The Welsh-based team will begin their tournament journey against the Natalie Portman-owned Angel City at 12:30 p.m. EST on Friday, June 7th. Later that same day, they will face Streetball Canada at 9:30 p.m. EST. Their final group stage match is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST the following day, against the US Women’s team.

Meanwhile, Group B features the JJ Watt-owned Burnley FC Women, NWSL’s North Carolina Courage, Soccerhead FC, and the future USL Super League team, Tampa Bay Sun FC. All group matches will be completed between June 7th and 8th. The next round includes direct semifinal clashes on June 9th, where the winner of Group A will compete against the second-place team from Group B.

Meanwhile, another clash will see the runner-up of Group A face the winner of Group B. At last, the victors of these semifinal matches will advance to the finals, which will be held on June 10th.
