In all fairness, Wrexham deserves an avalanche of attention. The club is going through a magnificent run in the National League so far. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have significantly turned the club’s fortunes as they continue to lead it to glory.

The Hollywood duo is crossing its fingers to achieve significant success as they eye multiple promotions. They have worked collectively to make the fifth division a global brand. In fact, the club’s fandom seems to increase every day. Fans and the whole Wrexham community are in awe of their owners, as they have built a unified bond with the city.

Now, of course, being American owners, both Reynolds and McElhenney try to catch up with all the matches in Wrexham. At times, neither of them can support their side due to another aspect of their lives as actors. However, it seems the owners are now being urged to live in the United Kingdom.

Famous journalists Ranvir Singh and Lorraine Kelly hosted the morning show, where the main agenda of discussion was Wrexham and the impact of the owners. Moreover, both the presenters were full of praise for Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively as well. The presenters even had a special request for the celebrity couple.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively urged to stay in the UK

While discussing Hugh Jackman’s role in Deadpool 3, Ranvir said, “Now from Hollywood to Holyhead. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been touted as the next celebrity billionaires.”

“He’s a sharp businessman and his wife Blake is very clever too in terms of sponsorships. I reckon their combined fortune is about £700mill. He’s got the mobile phone and gin company, he has it all, he’s one of the highest paid actors in the world.” said LA Correspondent Ross King.

Soon, the conversation led to the presenters discussing the star couple’s stay in the UK with studio presenter Lucy. “They have put Wrexham on the global map. They are both taking it so seriously and are there pretty much every other week.” She added, “The fans absolutely love it and love him, David Beckhams been down there and his wife Blake is obsessed as he is now.”

The presenter mentioned Reynolds’ earlier comments saying Lively wasn’t in favor of Wrexham, but then she added, “Now she loves it! She’s going down the local pubs and everything.” Lorraine also said Blake has been visiting the attractive spots of Wrexham, saying, “Yeah she’s been down the pubs and also had tickets to Chester Zoo and all sorts.”

When Ranvir asked about the place where they are staying, her colleague said, “Yes there are some nice and fancy hotels near Chester, so she’ll be ok there.” The presenters are somehow urging Reynolds and his wife to permanently relocate to the UK. The couple might be pondering the decision. Moreover, after Ryan’s last year’s claim about Wrexham, the decision might become easier.

Wrexham is the Ibiza of Wales

Back on August 25, 2022, Blake Lively shared a picture of herself in a white bikini by the poolside, with the caption “summer lovin’ …had me a blast”. The picture caught the eyes of netizens as it garnered over 2.5 million likes.
