Many including his teammates hence were scared and unfortunately, their fears turned out to be true with Mullin’s injury.
In a recent episode of ‘Fozcast’; Ben Foster revealed the reality of Mullin’s injury. He vividly explained why things turned out the way they did. “The reason why Paul Mullin did so much damage – and the damage he did was brutal, by the way – was because he didn’t know the goal,” said Foster in the podcast.
Foster then continued the narration revealing the harsh extent of impact Mullin received. “He was there when he’s headed the ball. He just fractured four of his ribs and then punctured it along. The reason why he did all of that damage was because he didn’t know the goal was there,” said Foster in a somber tone. Based on the injury, it does look like a lengthy layoff for Mullin. Foster however gave more insights on the recovery period.
