Even though clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are building terrific squads for the future, one Welsh soccer club continues to grow every season. Wrexham AFC remains the top club in recent times following their continued growth. Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney invested millions into the club. Their efforts are reaping the benefits with the team growing at a rapid pace, including stadium expansions in place. Moreover, their fan base carries the team forward with dazzling support and breaks attendance records. The record comes after their disappointing attempts to sign a player before the deal died away at 12:30 AM, leaving a bitter taste in the mouth.
The club boasts an ardent fan base that holds its values in high regard. When they faced financial turmoil and plunged into the perils of extinction, the fans paved the way for the club to regenerate itself. They create records every season and recently broke a new attendance record in the Football League Trophy competition.

Pulling the plug at the last moment!
With Paul Mullin injured after the punctured lung injury, Wrexham was in the market to acquire another striker. Nevertheless, their plans were thwarted when their last-minute bid of $630,000 for Luke Armstrong was rejected. Dejected after the deal got canceled, the club boss, Phil Parkinson, detailed the failed transfer. He stated, “We worked hard on getting a deal that suited us and Harrogate. It was held up because Harrogate wanted to get players in themselves.”
He continued, “For whatever reason, the deal didn’t get over the line. In these situations, we analyze why it (paperwork) didn’t get through. I have my thoughts on it. But that’s life and we move on.” They have appealed for the player, and hopefully, the club can get the deal over the line. As for now, the club enjoys its new attendance record. Are Wrexham fans the best?
