He is scheduled to depart for Abu Dhabi for a training camp with Manchester City. The training camp will last a week before the team returns to compete against Tottenham in the FA Cup Round 4 on 26 January. It is during this camp that Erling Haaland is also anticipated to resume his training.

Erling Haaland has been in the process of recovering from his ankle injury for more than a month now. Recently, Pep Guardiola, the manager, disclosed that the Norwegian striker experienced a minor setback during his recovery. Consequently, the team’s medical staff has prohibited him from participating in training sessions. However, this is expected to change soon as the upcoming Abu Dhabi training camp approaches.

The Spanish manager previously mentioned, “He’s fine, but a little problem, disturbing his feet. The doctors decide to stop for one week and restart maybe in Abu Dhabi.” Regarding his comeback, Pep Guardiola remains wishful that Haaland will return for the match against Tottenham.
