However, according to Musk’s new policy, a fee will now be charged for the blue tick. It has been turned into a subscription-based plan called ‘Twitter Blue.’ Hence, now verified account holders can subscribe and pay a fee in order to have the blue tick. Like many celebrities, Ramos isn’t happy with the Elon Musk-owned company’s new policy and has thrown strong words at the American company.

Many celebrities were surprised when their blue tick was taken away this week and the Spanish soccer legend was among those affected. Ramos hasn’t taken it well, as the PSG man has slammed Musk after he received some hateful messages from some netizens.

Recently, Ramos shared two screenshots of the hateful messages he received. He also added a caption where he took a direct hit on the American billionaire. He wrote, “@elonmusk, eliminating blue badges, forcing payments and making money is one strategy. Eliminating hatred, promoting respect and making @twitter a better place could be another one. Just saying…”

The former Madrid man is ready to accept the new norms, however, he is still not impressed with the dark side of Twitter. Celebrities often receive hateful comments and messages from netizens, which has been an issue for quite some time. Ramos is no exception, as he also received hateful messages.
