As Inter Miami heads toward their final game of the MLS season, there’s been some positive news surrounding the club’s star signing and captain, Lionel Messi. Messi was forced to watch Miami’s last home game at the DRV PNK Stadium from the stands while the franchise’s owner, David Beckham, thanked some high-profile names, including famed sprinter Usain Bolt, for attending the game against Charlotte. However, now, as per reports from the Miami camp, Messi could feature in Inter Miami’s MLS finale, which is an away game to Charlotte FC.

Messi has scored 11 goals and made 8 assists for the Miami outfit this season. But he has struggled with injuries. This has seen his game-time for the club significantly reduce over the past few weeks. Inter Miami crashed out of the race to clinch the final MLS playoff place, coinciding with Messi’s injuries, but he could make one final bow for this season in the Herons’ final MLS game.
