Despite the influx of exceptional players, the soccer club fans are far from happy.

Naturally, when a big name arrives, the club gets their ticket prices up. It is a vital source of revenue for the club, which looks to improve the existing squad by using some of the generated revenue. But the ticket prices have caused the fans to voice their opinions. A marketing expert who talks about Al Hilal explained his concerns on X by tweeting some pointers.

Fans unhappy despite Neymar arriving at Al Hilal

With Al Hilal playing Uzbekistan side Navbahor in the Asian Champions League, they saw in attendance to watch the team play. With their favorite superstars like Neymar, Ruben Neves, and Aleksandar Mitrovic playing, the team salvaged a point courtesy of a late goal by Ali Al-Bulaihi. The result was not in the fans’ favor, and the cost of tickets posed an issue. According to Safad, a marketing expert, he pointed out the fans came in attendance despite high ticket prices. 

The ticket price for the match was 75 riyals, which took place on a midweek working night. The game took place at the King Fahad Stadium and was the first round of the Asian Champions League. It was not a significant match like a final in any way. The ticket prices seemed to be very high, which caused the fans to raise their eyebrows. He pointed out how most of the fans were students, and they found it hard to attend games.

He pointed out how other stadiums had ticket prices of up to 20-30 riyals compared to Al Hilal. Despite a 50,000 attendance, the tweet stated how they needed to revise the ticket prices. Therefore, more fans can attend the game if it happens.

The Brazilian superstar has yet to score a goal!

The legendary winger arrived at the club with much fanfare but has yet to score a goal. He impacted the game by assisting two goals during his first game as a substitute. Neymar sliced the defense open with two brilliant assists but could not find the back of the net. The Brazilian legend started a game for Al Hilal in the Asian Champions League but failed to hit the net.
