Al Nassr’s upcoming match in the AFC Champions League will take place in Iran, where Cristiano Ronaldo and his team will face Persepolis, one of Iran’s prominent football clubs. However, it won’t just be the challenges on the pitch that Ronaldo must contend with during his time in the country.

In Iran, social media platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp are prohibited. This means that the Portuguese star won’t have access to these communication channels while he is there. Additionally, Ezzatollah Zarghami, the Iranian Minister of Tourism, has made it clear that Ronaldo will not receive any special privileges to stay connected with his loved ones.

As stated by Zarghami: “We do not give Ronaldo unlimited internet in Tehran. He must install national communication programs in Iran, such as ‘Ita’ and ‘Ballah’ so that he can communicate with his family and friends”.  These additional obstacles will certainly pose challenges for the renowned superstar during this crucial match in Iran.
