The Brazilian has struggled with injuries since his time with Barcelona. He missed 33 games for the Blaugrana during his spell. If that were not enough, after his blockbuster move to Paris Saint Germain, the Brazilian missed a whopping 140 games due to medical or fitness issues. Many soccer fans are also of the opinion that Neymar would have won more trophies in the absence of the injuries.
Brazil lost the 2014 World Cup semi-final 7-1 in his absence after a horrifying back injury in the quarter-final. He also missed some important matches for PSG in the knockout games of the Champions League over the seasons. Neymar will hope that the Brazil national team does not miss him in next month’s games against Argentina and Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers.
