Following in Shakira’s Footsteps, Georgina Rodriguez Uses Her ‘Creativity’ To Please Cancer Patients

You feel like spending the Earth when you become a millionaire. But along with that, don’t forget where you came from – your roots. Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo certainly help the needy when needed. In the latest Season 3 Episode 5 documentary of ‘I am Georgina’, she visits a cancer patient named Sara. With the doctors reporting over 1500 cases a year, Sara is one of the unlucky few who suffered from pelvic rhabdomyosarcoma.

Giving dolls is one way to keep the spirits high. Baby Pelón, a doll from Spain, is a tribute to children with cancer and is designed to foster empathy and emotional awareness among young ones. Therefore, Georgina followed the same paths as Shakira, Yatra, Manuel Carrasco, and Ricky Martin in handing Baby Pelón to Sara through the Baby Pelones Foundation.

It all started when Sara posted a video for Georgina about her wish to meet the social media influencer. Her wishes came true as Georgina went to meet her at the hospital. In a touching moment, she presented Sara with a Baby Pelón. Georgina stated, “I was recently asked to design a headscarf for the Baby Pelones Foundation. It’s a support project that helps kids who are sick with cancer. I didn’t think twice. Then I designed a headscarf with my kids’ help.” 

In the next clip, we see her kids Alana and Eva designing the doll’s scarf. Most importantly, Georgina Rodriguez explains the purpose of giving dolls to kids who are sick. She mentioned, “We painted all the butterflies ourselves. Between Eva, Alana, and me.” Sara loved the doll and both of them shared a heartwarming moment.

Likewise, Sara wanted to know why she chose butterflies for the scarf’s design.

Georgina Rodriguez makes Sara’s day!

The social media influencer conveyed, “Because butterflies always shows up in my life and they make me really happy. I think they’re little angels.” There is a backstory to it.

Whenever she thinks about her late son Angel, she has butterflies around her head. Moreover, a white butterfly appeared whenever she talked about her son. Sadly, Ángel, the twin son of Georgina Rodríguez and Cristiano Ronaldo, lost his life during childbirth in April 2022.

Meanwhile, Sara is on her road to recovery after removing a tumor. She’s getting consolidation therapy. We see Georgina visibly emotional as she knows what it feels like to lose a child. Yet, Sara’s recovery remains an inspiring story. The young girl is brave and strong to face an unlucky medical condition.

In the end, the two capture photographs in a photo shoot with the doll Georgina Rodriguez made. She gave Sara a Barbie, and a coloring set as it became a cherishable moment. Lovely to watch, isn’t it?
