Soccer superstars often indulges themselves in several money-making avenues. Cristiano Ronaldo is no exception to them. The $500 million worth of Al Nassr talisman owns several businesses apart from his endorsements. URSU Water and a chain of restaurants are a few examples of it. The five-time Ballon d’Or is also a partner of hair transplant clinic Insparya with Vallis Capital Partners.

Recently, Ronaldo and Vallis made separate announcements for the expansion of their ventures. Accordingly, Insparya opened its overall 11th and 4th clinic in Spain at Bilbao. On the other hand, Vallis upped its stakes to 80% in one of the Portuguese healthcare giants.

The partner of Cristiano Ronaldo expands its business

Cristiano Ronaldo’s connection with Vallis goes back to 2019 when the fund invested in Insparya, a chain of clinics for hair health and transplants. Ronaldo recently shared an update regarding Insparya, which opened its fourth clinic in Spain at Bilbao. Overall, it’s an 11th clinic, and Ronaldo thanked over 50,000 satisfied customers for using Insparya’s services.

Ronald and Vallis are active partners in the specialized hair transplant clinic chain Insparya. Meanwhile, Vallis also runs its separate business and has made a significant announcement recently. Accordingly, the fund, with assets north of $200 million, increased its stakes in the healthcare firm RACLAC.

Founded in 2010, Vallis has expanded its portfolio rapidly. Their first investment in RACLAC (a disposable products enterprise) came in 2016. A new press release from the company states it is increasing its stakes in the RACLAC to 80%. Vallis has two funds: FUND I Vallis Sustainable Investment I, S.C.A, SICAR, and FUNDO II Vallis Sustainable Investments II, FCR.

FUND I, with a size over $80 million, maintains 50% of stakes in the RACLAC. FUNDO II, with assets over $160 million, has taken 30% stakes in the Portuguese company known for the first European unit to manufacture nitrile examination gloves. The remaining 20% stakes will continue with Pedro Costa, founder and CEO of RACLAC.

Ronaldo partners with hotel chain group Pestana and has three Pestana CR7 Hotels located at Madeira, Lisbon, and New York. The Al Nassr forward owns sizeable stakes in Grupo Mabel Capital with Rafael Nadal and Pau Gasol. It owns the elite restaurant chain Zela. His love for fitness can be seen through his partnership with Crunch to open CR7 Crunch Fitness.

Apart from his 50% stake in hair transplant clinic Insparya, the Portuguese also boasts CR7 Brands. He has eyewear, footwear, fragrances, and underwear under the CR7 brand. How can one forget his current healthy drinking water brand, URSU? Overall, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner boasts several investments apart from the highest-paid athlete tag.
