2. Jose Mourinho
Another strong candidate for the Brazilian managerial position is Jose Mourinho. The legendary Portuguese coach has made a name for himself with success at various top European clubs. Currently, the coach of Roma, Mourinho has been touted as Brazil’s next boss by the nation’s own legend Carlos Alberto.
At the same time, there have also been reports of Mourinho taking over the position of head coach for the Portuguese national team. Nevertheless, the 60-year-old confirmed rejecting that offer, leaving doors wide open for a move to Brazil.

Having managed over 18 Brazilian clubs, Junior has over two decades of managerial experience. Although his trophy cabinet might not be exceptionally decorated(6 in total), his deep-rooted knowledge of this country’s soccer makes him a strong contender.
4. Renato Gaucho

Renato Gaucho is another experienced Brazillian coach who has managed six different Brazillian clubs throughout his career. Gaucho is currently the coach of Brazillian side Gremio, but his contract expires on December 31, 2023. It could be the perfect opportunity for the 61-year-old to take charge of Brazil.
5. Jorge Sampaoli
Lastly, Jorge Sampaoli emerges as an intriguing candidate for the Brazilian coaching role. Having managed top clubs like Sevilla and Marseille, Sampaoli has also ventured into international management, having helmed the Argentina national team from 2017 to 2018.
