The question arose because the Welsh soccer club is currently in the US for their preseason. After the Chelsea defeat, they will now face Manchester United in four days. A day ago, Wrexham’s manager Phil Parkinson was in conversation on the Men in Blazers podcast. The host interestingly asked whether Reynolds and Co. would be interested in signing an American player.
Parkinson pointed out that the club currently has more ‘flexibility’. Also, they can sign foreign players! In context to the above, he said, “Yeah. So, we have been looking across the world really…So yeah, we’re exploring that. Have we identified a player we feel is a right fight, at the right money? No. The answer is No. But we certainly haven’t ruled it out”.
The Wrexham boss then complimented the ‘very-very strong’ English soccer pyramid system. In conclusion, he reiterated, “So, it’s judging players in different leagues around the world. We’re looking at that and if someone comes available, I’m sure we’ll make a move”. Undoubtedly, Wrexham already has a great squad including the likes of Paul Mullin, Ben Foster, and many more players.

Wrexham’s official Instagram account had 41k subscribers during the Hollywood takeover. Currently, the official handle is at 996k, closing on a million followers.
In totality, the club’s social media handles witnessed a 921.23% rise. Earlier in the year, Wrexham beat last season’s ‘season ticket’ record by crossing 7,150 holders. The former-Vanarama National League club managed to shockingly sell more than 24,000 shirts last season.
