The Saudi club went on to win 6-1 comfortably. Unfortunately, Neymar couldn’t feature on the scoresheet on his debut! Soon after the game ended, Neymar posted a heartfelt message to the fans.
Neymar is finally back in the Al Hilal squad. The player joined the Saudi-based club last month but wasn’t able to make his debut citing an injury. With the win against Al Riyadh, the team is now on a winning streak of four games.

Neymar although firing a blank in his debut played quite well. The Brazilian soccer icon bagged his first-ever assist in the SPL after passing to his teammate Malcom for a clear shot on the goal. Without a doubt, most of the spotlight was on the multi-million-dollar signing. Fans from all across the globe were excited to see the trickster start his new journey overseas. After the game, he posted a message thanking his fanbase.
After a month of waiting, it finally paid off for the fans as they watched Al Hilal ease past its rival Al Riyadh. On Instagram, Neymar wrote, “So happy to debut with victory… Thanks to the fans for the tribute”. In no time, that post went viral on Instagram with more than 1.4 million reactions. It seems like the soccer fanbase was thrilled after the Brazilian soccer star’s debut.
