Interestingly, the $50 million-worth actor’s association with Wrexham has led to an influx of new fans for the club in Philadelphia. The 45-year-old owns a pub there named Mac’s Tavern. Apparently, it has transformed into a shrine dedicated to all things related to the Welsh club. Situated in the heart of Philadelphia’s Old City, the bar is adorned with Welsh flags and club shirts, serving as a tribute to the club and its culture.

On match days, it becomes a lively gathering spot for passionate and ardent supporters, cheering for the team from across the ocean. In fact, during Wrexham’s last year’s game against Boreham Wood, the bar manager, Erica Demitraszek, received an average of 7 to 8 phone calls per day regarding the game.
