MLS fans are excited as Lionel Messi nears his Inter Miami debut. The club’s co-owner recently shared a massive update regarding Messi’s debut. As per Jorge Mas, the Argentine will start his journey with The Herons on July 21. They will play Liga MX’s Cruz Arul in the Leagues Cup game.

It was exciting news for the fans. They are eagerly waiting to see the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner since his Inter Miami announcement last month. But Messi recently concerned the fans for some time after his pics from the latest vacation emerged.

Messi and his family are in the Bahamas. The Argentine is spending some quality time with his loved ones before embarking on a new journey in the US. Meanwhile, one pic shared by Antonela Roccuzzo concerned his fans just 15 days ahead of his debut for the MLS club.?

Roccuzzo took to Instagram to share their vacation snaps. One of those pics was the duo playing a jet ski. It is an adventurous sport that injures around 600-700 people yearly, as per the report. But what garnered the attention of the fans was Roccuzzo without a life jacket, while Messi had one. It’s an unsafe practice, and fans would hope Messi doesn’t try it again ahead of his debut.

The Argentine gets a well-deserved break after leaving PSG and playing international friendlies. Messi also appeared in the farewell games for Maxi Rodriguez and Joan Roman Riquelme. After the vacation, he will head to Miami to get the contract signed and other formalities done. If the statement by Jorge Mas is to be believed, David Beckham’s club will reunite Messi with his former teammates.

Inter Miami or FC Barcelona 2.0?

After landing Lionel Messi, Inter Miami signed his long-time former teammate at Barcelona, Sergio Busquets. Jorge Mas recently made a statement there will be more signings. He named Luiz Suarez and Jordi Alba as their targets. Both players played with Messi at FC Barcelona.

Mas has set a deadline of July 15 for announcing some massive signings. If the players join Inter Miami, they will have another familiar face in the dugout, apart from Messi and Busquets. The MLS club recently announced the signing of Tata Martino, former Barcelona coach. He will replace Phil Neville.?
