Al Hilal signed Neymar Jr. from PSG in a deal worth $98 million. After losing out on many top talents, Al Hilal was finally able to close a deal with PSG. Neymar signed a two-year deal with the Saudi club and was offered $175 million for his services. However, the Saudi club did more than just offer high wages. In his recent interview, the Brazilian talked about how he is happy with his decision.
To get him to the club, the Saudis provided leniency and allowed Neymar and his girlfriend to reside in the same abode. As per Saudi laws, unmarried couples can’t reside in the same residence. Neymar is the second soccer player who has been offered this privilege. Earlier, Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-time girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez were also allowed to break the law and stay together. And Neymar says he has no regrets about joining Al Hilal.
