Real Madrid is looking to make its squad more robust. The club, however, has not yet succeeded in getting Kylian Mbappe after a year of repeated attempts. With the French star’s signing still not guaranteed, new signing Jude Bellingham’s position may be at risk, as the club eyes a $118 million signing in the midfield.
Bellingham, without a doubt, has been turning heads at Los Blancos this season. But Real Madrid would still like to buy in a few more top guns to keep up with their outgoing and aging players. And it seems like they have made Plan B.

After the departure of Karim Benzema to Al Ittihad this year, Real Madrid has not signed a dedicated striker to replace him. Even though Bellingham has started phenomenally, scoring 10 goals in 12 games in La Liga, and Joselu filling the void, the club is targeting another attacking player in the midfield. According to reports, Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich is in Florentino Perez’s sight.

20-year-old Musiala is Bayern Munich’s star attacking midfielder and is known for his strong dribbling and maneuvering skills. The player was instrumental in Bayern winning the Bundesliga last season in a tit-for-tat fight with their rivals, Borussia Dortmund. Musiala scored 12 goals and provided ten assists in the league, making him the leading contributor for the team.

On the other hand, the club from Madrid already has a packed midfield. With contract extensions from Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga and the presence of strong players like Tchouaméni and Fede Valverde, the competition within the squad is high. Additionally, the Vikings’ new interest will compete with Bellingham, with both playing a similar role. But the German player’s arrival will eventually depend on their ability to sign Kylian Mbappe.
Real Madrid’s future with Kylian Mbappe
After a hundred percent no from Carlo Ancelotti during the last window, Madrid will still keep persisting for the World Cup Golden Boot winner. With a contract extension not signed between the Qatar-owned club and the player, speculations still go deep about Real Madrid’s chances of landing the forward.

Meanwhile, with recent reports of negotiations shunned by the club’s official statement, the ambiguity of the matter has gone to a different level. But the most successful club in Europe is never short of positives. The team, along with their marquee signing, made a statement with their 2-1 win over archrival Barcelona. And adding more attackers would mean even more belligerence from the team.
