Long-term goals always trump temporary benefits. The situation looks unfamiliar to the club, with one of the biggest fan bases in the world. Manchester United has been trying to put pieces together in the last couple of years but, it’s just splitting apart. The coach, Erik ten Hag, recently banished Jadon Sancho from the first team leading to similar lines like Cristiano Ronaldo. Should Sancho apologize? Or does the coach reconcile with the player?

With no major titles in the past six years, United’s aim was to regain its reputation as one of the prime forces. But with the current situation, the club would like to assemble in unity. On the other hand, Jadon Sancho would love some game time to keep switched on.

Since joining in 2021, Jadon Sancho could not make the same impact we saw when he was with Borussia Dortmund. The player just scored 12 goals for Manchester United in 82 appearances. But the player seemed to go into the bad books of ten Hag, who needs an apology for his rebellion. Not just the coach, but Dougie Critchley, a presenter and an expert, feels that Jadon Sancho needs to apologize and come back instead of wasting time.

He said “I just think [Jadon] Sancho is wasting a great opportunity here. With the amount of Injuries, with the amount of controversies surrounding players in his position.” “Just from Jadon Sancho’s perspective, whatever has happened behind the scenes, I just encourage you to apologize and try moving forward.”

Sancho was initially blamed for his work ethic by ten Hag in front of the media. The complaints were about Jadon Sancho not giving his best in the training sessions. The statement, however, didn’t go well with the player, who retaliated by claiming it to be false and being the scapegoat. Sancho had a rather ordinary run with the Red Devils not starting games regularly.

Erik ten Hag has a reputation for being a strict and stubborn manager. Dougie also mentions the difficulty of Teh Hag changing his stand just like he dealt with Ronaldo and Rashford. He emphasized that if he could achieve it with one of the greatest players of the century, then Sancho should not waste his time, but instead return and focus on his own success.

Jadon Sancho, on the other hand, seems to be bothered less. A few days ago, the Englishman, was seen playing video games regardless of the current situation. After feeling that he was being treated differently than others, Sancho could not withdraw from expressing what he felt.
