The speculation surrounding Erling Haaland‘s potential move to Real Madrid has been growing with each passing day. Reports have been circulating for weeks that Madrid is keen on signing the prolific Norwegian striker from Manchester City. Amid all this, Haaland’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has issued a stern warning to both clubs, urging them to find a peaceful resolution to the situation.

Despite having close to four more years remaining on his contract with Manchester City, the 23-year-old forward could depart next summer, with growing interest from the Spanish giants. In an attempt to keep their star striker, City even offered him a contract extension, but Haaland turned it down, further complicating the situation.

Real Madrid has recently expressed their interest in signing Haaland next year, prompting concerns from Manchester City. To safeguard against this, City could insert a release clause in the Norwegian’s contract, with a staggering valuation of up to $1 billion, as they tried earlier with their contract extension offer.

This indicates the desire of both clubs to secure the services of the young superstar. Haaland’s agent, however, has voiced her disapproval of the release clause. She recently stated, “As for the clause, it’s a way for clubs to say: I decide”.

In an effort to find a peaceful resolution, Pimenta has sent a clear message to both Real Madrid and Manchester City. “However, I believe that if we want a peaceful future, we have to face one another,” Pimenta further added.

Pimenta’s emphasis on a peaceful future suggests that she intends to avoid any animosity or confrontation between the two clubs and also make things easier for the striker. Interestingly, Madrid is not the only party interested in acquiring the services of Erling Haaland. Saudi Arabia has also expressed a keen interest in the star striker.
