Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham AFC is on an absolutely dominating run in the National League. The Welsh Club has cemented its position at the table’s top and is looking straight at the automatic promotion. Ever since Reynolds had bought the club along with his partner Rob McElhenney, the club didn’t look backward. Wrexham is getting a new clutter of fans each day. Some because of their magical performances and some due to the unfathomable fame of their owner. Ryan Reynolds and coach Phil Parkinson have turned this seemingly mediocre club into a behemoth.

In the FA Cup, the team has returned after creating history. The club remained in the top 32 teams in Europe, and they made quick work of many higher-tier teams. The most shocking match of that tournament to this day is Wrexham vs Coventry. When a 5th-tier team defeated the 2nd-tier club, they almost repeated their accolade again against Sheffield United, if not for the last-minute heartbreaker.

Staff and fans helped to make the match of Wrexham

A couple of days ago, Wrexham faced Southend United. However, that match almost didn’t happen. It had snowed the days before the match. The Racecourse ground, home of Wrexham AFC was covered in snow and it rendered the match in jeopardy. Thankfully, the staff including the CEO and coach Phil Parkinson along with volunteers were there to save the day for them.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson talked about this situation after the match. He thanked everyone who showed up to make the match a reality. Parkinson said, “The men and women of the match are everyone who turned up at 6am. All the staff and people from the outside who came in and worked so hard to get the game on. It was an incredible effort. On Friday morning, if you had told me the game was going to be on….it was very doubtful. This is what the club is all about; when I came in there was a real feeling of community and togetherness, everybody doing their bit to help this club achieve the ultimate goal.”
