Gerardo Martino and his men clinched a thriller in their opening fixture of the Leagues Cup against Cruz Azul. The Miami-based team won the game thanks to a decisive freekick in the 94th minute by the G.O.A.T Messi. The match also saw Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets making his debut making it even more special to bag a thriller.
After a whirlwind opening fixture, Inter Miami will next take on Atlanta United in the Leagues Cup. The match will be played tomorrow night at Miami’s home ground in DRV PNK Stadium.
