A few days back, an announcement was made that Nottingham Forest and Everton had been found guilty of breaching FFP. It was the second time the Toffees were found guilty. Now, both sides are likely to face points reductions. Once the news spread like wildfire, fans began to speculate on the potential consequences if Manchester City were proven guilty of their 115 FFP charges. Well, the ex-financial advisor of the club, Stefan Borson, has provided an update. He said, “There’s no question, if those charges are proven, this will end in at least relegation!.”The scale is on a completely different level!”.

Premier League CEO Richard Masters was also asked about the case of City in a meeting with the Culture, Media and Sport Committee. He revealed that the date for the case had been decided. However, he would not reveal the full details. According to several reports, there could be development on the issue as early as next week.

But amid the players they could lose potentially with relegation, Pep Guardiola will not go. In a press conference, the Spanish manager made it clear that he would manage the club in lower divisions even after they were found guilty.
