Arsenal made a statement win over Manchester City with the title race now wide open. A late striker from Gabriel Martinelli sealed the win for the Gunners as it deflected off Nathan Ake’s head and made its way into the net. The final whistle blew and the crowd cheered up as the City team made their way back into the dressing room. City to extend Haaland’s contract citing Real Madrid’s interest
Manchester City is actively engaged in negotiations with Erling Haaland to secure a contract extension. Haaland, who has enjoyed a stellar first season with the club, played a pivotal role in City’s triumphant treble win last season. With Real Madrid expressing keen interest in signing him, City is determined to retain Haaland’s services. His current contract is set to expire in June 2027.
The strategy here is to leverage Haaland’s rising market value by prolonging his stay, thereby maximizing potential transfer fees. This strategic move underscores City’s unwavering commitment to Haaland’s development and its steadfast pursuit of long-term success in European football.
