Manchester United managed an impressive goalless draw against Liverpool in their previous fixture. Hence, the fans expected a win against West Ham. This is where their confidence in the team unfortunately went wrong. The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 defeat against West Ham. Journalist Piers Morgan did not waste any time in trolling Erik ten Hag as usual after the match. He wrote on Twitter, “Ten Hag’s breaking so many records!

In another tweet, he said, “Got to feel sorry for United fans, they never get to see a full 90mins anymore.” The tweet ended with a laughing emoji.

Manchester United started the first half well. However, their problems with converting chances continued. This led to West Ham coming out as a better team to win the game in the first half. The Hammers took the lead through Jarrod Bowen in the 72nd minute.  Just 6 minutes later, Erik Ten Hag’s former Ajax player Mohammed Kudus coolly slotted home another chance in the 78th minute to make it 2-0.
