Manchester United‘s season continues to ebb and flow. While many were expecting Erik ten Hag’s men to carry the momentum from the mid-week win over Chelsea, the Red Devils were battered at the hands of Bournemouth at Old Trafford, a first win for the Cherries at the stadium. To add more to the misery, skipper Bruno Fernandes has been suspended for a game which will see him miss the highly anticipated game against Liverpool. TV personality Piers Morgan, who never fails to take a dig at the Dutchman, has yet again taken to his social media handle to slam the Manchester United manager.

Manchester United will miss the services of Bruno Fernandes when they travel to Anfield for their upcoming Premier League match. The Portuguese star has been instrumental this season and his absence against bitter rivals Liverpool could make things a lot harder for Erik ten Hag.

TV host Piers Morgan, meanwhile, was quick to react following Manchester United’s 3-0 thrashing at the hands of Bournemouth. Morgan posted an image of the Dutchman on his official X handle while mockingly calling a taxi for him. He also questioned the Premier League’s decision to award the Manchester United manager with the Manager of the Month award, sarcastically claiming that it has aged well.

This is not the first time that Morgan has taken a shot against the Dutchman. Earlier this month, Morgan called Erik ten Hag a clown while voicing his surprise at the fact that Manchester United was yet to sack him from his position.

Things have gone from bad to worse for the Red Devils following the defeat to Bournemouth. While Erik ten Hag would have loved to have his entire squad up for selection before the crucial game against Liverpool, the team is now set to miss their skipper for the all-important clash.
