David Beckham and Inter Miami will have high expectations next campaign. Considering that Lionel Messi and Co. already delivered the Leagues Cup, nothing short of a playoff spot will be enough to impress the fans. The squad is set for some significant additions next season. One is a player the Argentina captain knows from the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cup. The 37-year-old’s recent actions have hinted that he might be on a flight to the USA very soon.

However, this is not the only major reunion for Lionel Messi. Former Barcelona striker Luis Suarez joined as a free agent following his spell with Gremio. With Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba already on the roster, is Beckham planning for a 2015 Barca style dominance?

The upcoming match against Rosario Central will likely be Enzo Perez’s last game for the Argentine side. As per La Pagina Millonaria, the veteran midfielder is likely to link up with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami. It is believed that the player has received a big contract from the MLS side, one vastly superior to his current one. Hence, the star and his agent are busy finalizing the details of their transfer.

Although the River Plate captain hasn’t communicated his decision in public, all the hints indicated his departure from River Plate. Firstly, the midfielder posed with his family on the pitch after his last game. Also, he greeted the fans in a way that was atypical of him. Considering his position as the captain of the club for the past 6 years, the decision would have been quite hard for Enzo.

A move to Inter Miami means that he can reunite with former teammate Lionel Messi. With 26 Argentina caps, Enzo has played with the Argentine maestro in two World Cups. Capable of playing in a defensive or a central midfield position, Enzo can perfectly complement Busquets in the middle of the pitch. Yet, despite his immense qualities, it is another transfer that is generating the buzz at Inter Miami.
