Objection filed against David Beckham for using backhand tricks to convert his Cotswolds property

As per the latest reports, Beckham’s neighbors have had enough of his planning and have come out with a lengthy objection to their local council. The Beckham couple is being accused of tricking the council by using a “back door” to turn their barn into a residential space.

On the second of August, David Beckham filed a planning application for his $8,000,000 worth Cotswolds property, which has already undergone massive renovations over the years. This time, the Inter Miami owner wanted to convert his barn roof space into a home office. However, this was met with a resounding opposition by his neighbors. They believed that this step was taken by the ex-Real Madrid player to convert his barn into a residential unit.

James E. Worthington, a resident next to Beckham’s property submitted a four-page complaint to the Council highlighting Beckham’s supposed ulterior motives. Speaking to Express.co.uk, Worthington laid out his grievance in simple words: “This building has gone from a simple wood barn for machinery with log store to having the height, width, and length increased; for what so those who will be attending evenings ‘in the greenhouse and cooking area’ can stay.” The resident also revealed that many locals of the area are fed up with David’s planning application.

“Many locally have said enough is enough, and it’s about time the planners indicated this to the applicants,” said Worthington. Unfortunately for the Miami man, this is the second group of people in a span of a month who are upset with him for a breach of trust. The first of those were the Sussexes.

Why did the Sussexes have a fallout with the Beckham family?

The Beckham family has been one of the most trusted friends of the Royal Family over the years. From attending Prince Harry’s wedding with Meghan Markle to being there for the Sussexes throughout, the news of the Beckhams falling out with Harry & Meghan surprised many. What shocked fans further was the reason behind the fallout. As per reports, the Sussexes suspected the Beckham family of leaking sensitive information to the media about them.

The accusation struck the Beckham family like a lightning bolt, leaving David Beckham reportedly “absolutely bloody furious.” Furthermore, this also resulted in Meghan Markle dropping Victoria Beckham from her elusive close friends’ circle. Based on reports, it is safe to say that reconciliation between both parties is not going to happen anytime soon. The incident has deeply hurt and upset both couples.
