Moments ago, the Las Vegas Aces gathered with fans on the streets of Vegas for their second championship victory parade within a two-year span. Additionally, the fans had also been eagerly anticipating a celebratory parade on the city’s streets. But it seems more than the fans; it was USWNT star Alex Morgan who was in seventh heaven for the occasion.

The San Diego Waves forward earlier shared a selfie while wearing a sweatshirt of the Aces on Instagram. Aside from this, she added a caption saying, “Enjoy the parade (and backshots) today, champs.” Morgan sent a small message to A’ja Wilson and Co. to relish their victory parade with the fans.

Indeed, it was quite a thoughtful and heartwarming message from the forward. Notably, the parade started at 5 PM and continued past 7:30 PM on Monday, October 23. It commenced at the intersection of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard, with the procession proceeding along the southbound lane of Las Vegas Boulevard toward Park Avenue. After that, the parade concluded at the Toshiba Plaza with fireworks and a laser show.

Certainly, the fans must have enjoyed the victory parade. Meanwhile, Morgan herself recently clinched the NWSL shield with the Waves. Now she is preparing for the championship semi-final playoffs against OL Reign. Interestingly, her best friend, Megan Rapinoe, will be on the opposing team. She recently spoke about the epic face-off.

She said, “Oh, it’s gonna be a good one. It’s gonna be a good one. We are not going to give away our game plan but you know we don’t like each other so much.” Rapinoe’s playful jab at the San Diego team has the potential to increase tensions in the upcoming semi-final.
