Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of last year surprised everyone when he signed with the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr. This move made headlines around the world as it was the biggest contract ever offered in the history of soccer. Issued with a lot of potential and promises, the club seemed to be full of expectations for the season.

However, it seemed that the promises failed to deliver after an unfulfilling season. Al-Nassr didn’t manage to take home any trophy despite boasting one of the best players of all time. Al-Nassr got eliminated from the domestic league tournaments and finished second in the Saudi Pro League. It is an underwhelming result to swallow after all the anticipation created by the signing of Ronaldo.

Nevertheless, Al-Nassr is showing a resilient attitude and is not letting the unfulfilled promises drag them down. With their eyes already set on the next season, the club is looking to give a big turn to their fortunes.
