Wrexham AFC bested Notts County in what was the Clash of the Titans in the Vanarama National League. The game was massive in the context of the title, and Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney couldn’t stop themselves from attending it. Wrexham fans are happy to see the club beating the nearest title rival. The victory comes after a poor display in the previous game that saw the club lose to lowly FC Halifax Town. The win takes the world’s third-oldest soccer club to the top of the table with a game in hand. They lead Notts Couty by three points.

It was a game where both teams went neck-to-neck. Ryan Reynolds’ club emerged victorious in the game with a brilliant display by Paul Mullin. He first equalized in the 50th minute and then assisted two goals that proved to be sufficient to give the club three points in front of their owners, Reynolds and McElhenney. What a game for the second Welcome To Wrexham season.
The penalty save from the new signing Ben Foster sent the fans into crazy celebrations. Even the Hollywood owners weren’t able to stop themselves from celebrating wildly. It was a brilliant finale to the game that was a roller coaster ride from the first minute.
