Music is an important part of our culture. We celebrate almost every festival with themed music. We celebrate the joy, feel sad and feel heartbroken with our favorite song. No matter how diversified your playlist is, there are artists that you must listen to when you feel a certain way. Even soccer stars are big music fans. USWNT star Megan Rapinoe and Sophia smith appeared in an Instagram reel, talking about their music choices and the stars they follow.

USWNT stars are preparing for the upcoming World Cup and will be playing to retain their championship. The team had won the last two editions of the FIFA women’s world cup, dominating teams all around the world, and making fans. The viewership has increased significantly in the USA for female soccer.
Megan Rapinoe and Sophia Smith talked about music
USWNT stars appeared in an Instagram Clip posted by ESPN in which they talked about their favorite singers and artists. Fans had mixed reactions to the clip as different fan bases collided when different players had different names.

The clip started with Megan Rapinoe, who took the names of Drake, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Tems, Kendrick Lamar, and Burga Boy. The 2022 Player of the year from USWNT Sophia Smith also talked about her playlist. She took the names of Kane Brown, Beyonce and Rehana, Adele, and Cardi B.
You can see the influence of their age and how Sophia Smith had newer artists while Megan Rapinoe talked about artists Burga Boy. USWNT star Sophia Smith had a banger of a year and USMNT rewarded her for it.
Sophia Smith won Player of the year
After the banger of a year in which she scored 12 goals in 17 appearances. USWNT gave her the chance to be engraved in the history of the team. She became the youngest in the last 25 years after Mia Hamm.

Tennis legend Billie Jean King also congratulated the star and reminded everybody that the young USWNT star became the first woman of color to win player of the year ever. Fans are expecting more from the team and the stars. We even had seen Ed Sheeran talking about how Lionel Messi and his wife are big fans of his and how they met him.
