The soccer world is immersed in 2 of the sport’s most elite competitions after the World Cup: the Copa America and the Euros. Quite a few emotions have been triggered, especially, for Cristiano Ronaldo’s fans after his exit from the Euros. But one of his most famous and passionate fans, IShowSpeed aka Speed, found a moment of excitement despite the disappointment. However, this was not directly related to the Portuguese captain but involved Alisha Lehmann and her boyfriend Douglas Luiz’s transfer to Juventus.

This is the first time soccer has witnessed a transfer that involves a couple who played for the same moving to another club. But the way Speed reacted to the news caught the soccer world’s attention.

The YouTuber had recently caught up with Lehmann over lunch. During the conversation, Lehmann told Speed that she was dating Luiz and subsequently said “We just signed for Juventus” to which Speed reacted ” Really?” without initially giving much heed to the fact that it was a couple transfer. However, when Lehmann further said, “Yesterday he signed, so we go together,” resulting in the 19-year-old American being dumbfounded. Hence Speed responded by saying, “Wait, deada*s? So you did a couple transfer?”  to which Lehmann revalidated with a yes.

First, it was Luiz who signed for the Turin club last week for a 5-year deal from Aston Villa. The midfielder, who has impressed many in the Premier League, cost Juventus approximately $54 million for the transfer. Subsequently, Lehmann followed suit signing a three-year contract with the 5-time Italian champions. She was with the Birmingham club from 2021 appearing for them 74 times scoring 14 goals. She also won the Women’s Supporters’ Player of the Season in 2022.

However, both Lehmann and Luiz appear to be in coherence in their relationship and will move together to Turin. The couple started dating in 2021 and made it public the same year. However, the pair decided to break up for a brief while in November 2022 due to a few disagreements but have patched up later and, also, made history with this iconic move. But this wasn’t the only reason for Speed’s excitement.

Meanwhile, it appears that everything points toward Cristiano Ronaldo for Speed like a true fan. Further in the discussion Speed reminded Alisha Lehmann about Ronaldo’s time with the Italian giants. Speed asked “You know Ronaldo signed there, right?“ and the Switzerland international responded with “Yeah of course.”  Subsequently with more joy  Speed complimented Luiz saying, “Oh! That’s your boyfriend? Damn he’s hot,” looking at his picture on the phone and making Lehmann laugh.

Meanwhile, Juventus was one of the five clubs the highest goalscorer in the world played for. From 2018 to 2021 Ronaldo scored 101 goals and won 2 Italian League and Italian Super Cup titles for la Vecchia Signora. Hence, the CR7 fanatic’s day was made with such exciting news revealed to him in person by Lehmann.
