“Do Not Give a Single F***” – Ronnie O’Sullivan’s Ex-Girlfriend and Soccer Presenter Blasts Online Trolls Over Hate Messages

Bianca Westwood is a soccer presenter for Sky Sports. Currently one of the most recognizable faces in sports media, Bianca has had a very successful career in journalism. Bianca also has a bit of history with one of the world’s most successful snooker players, Ronnie O’Sullivan. O’Sullivan is a record seven-time master winner and, back in 2001, both dated for a brief time.

Recently Bianca took to Instagram to show messages from haters who claimed that she was “past it”. taking shots at her age and her ability to not present at the top level because of her age. Bianca didn’t sit quietly and slammed the hater by referring to them as “meanies”.

Westwood addressed the issue of haters and negativity she encounters on a regular basis. She said, “I often get asked about this & it’s not gender specific but 99% of my trolls (as infrequent as they are these days) are men.”

Then she went on to slam these haters by saying, “For those who message me to ask for advice in dealing with this issue, I wish I could give them the gift of indifference…because I promise you I do not give one single f**k about what anyone online says about me. They honestly matter less to me every single day.”

Soccer presenter Bianca’s advice to other journalists

West wood had some advice for young journalists about how to deal with this kind of hate. She said giving her example, “A thick skin comes with age & experience but I always tell them that I don’t feel the need to be liked by everyone anymore. I don’t like everyone so why should I demand to be liked?”

She also added, “There’s a good chance they’re wrong so I tend to rely on the opinions of people who matter to me. It’s all about reframing it. Mantra “IDGAF about your opinion of me internet stranger”. Repeat until believed & in the mean time block & move on”.

Bianca’s story is one that is, unfortunately, all too common for famous personalities. Receiving hate messages and online trolls is a regular occurrence. While it’s disheartening that Bianca has to deal with this kind of negativity, it’s also inspiring to see her not take any crap from trolls and haters.
