Another summer passed with Mbappe headlining the transfer news. The Frenchman was supposed to leave last summer with a move to Real Madrid but instead signed an extension with the Paris club. Now the striker is back in PSG’s first-team squad but is said to be facing an injury.

Didier Deschamps, the manager of France national soccer team, gave an update before Frances’ match against Germany. Deschamps said, “He (Mbappe) has a patellar tendon problem following Monday’s training session. It’s not serious, but it’s a problem that’s bothering him and also carries risks. So if he doesn’t start, bringing him back won’t improve his situation.”

The France boss cleared any reasons to worry for the fans and especially for PSG. He said it was nothing serious and it was a precautionary step to leave him out of the game.
