Soccer legend David Beckham got hilariously trolled by his son Romeo Beckham with three words. This troll came after an epic clash between Manchester United and Arsenal on Sunday in which the latter won 3-2. It is safe to say that the Manchester United and Arsenal match was a thrilling one.

With Arsenal scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute, fans of both teams were on the edge of their seats until the very end. In the audience were none other than soccer legend David Beckham and his son, Brentford academy’s new addition Romeo Beckham.
Romeo hilariously trolled his father
Romeo, being an Arsenal fan, took the opportunity to tease his dad a little – in a fun way, of course. He took to Instagram to share a selfie of him and his dad outside the stadium, with the caption “Sleep tight dad”.

In the picture, Romeo can be seen with a massive grin on his face, while David doesn’t look too excited. Given that David Beckham played a large part of his career with Manchester United, and is a big supporter of the club, his reaction is understandable.

Nonetheless, this is a sweet and wholesome moment for soccer fans of both sides. It’s always great to see a healthy rivalry between family members – and in this case, we can all enjoy a laugh at David Beckham’s expense.

David Beckham felt “disappointed” at his son
It goes without saying that David Beckham is a die-hard Manchester United fan. So, it came as a bit of a surprise when his son, Romeo, revealed he was an Arsenal supporter. In an interview back in 2012, Beckham discussed how he felt when he found out about his son’s chosen team.

“When I found out that my son, Romeo, supports Arsenal, I became disappointed,” he said. “I can’t bring myself to support Arsenal, although I do respect the club.” There’s no doubt David Beckham felt disappointed given the fact he is a big Manchester United fan and a legend for the club, while Arsenal is one of the prominent rivals of United.
