Many Eagles fans approved when Rob McElhenney made a public appeal to the Eagles owner. In an X post, the Wrexham co-owner asked Jefferey Laurie, the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, to heed the popular opinion of making green the official color for the team.

he hilarious and innocent demand made by the actor-turned-Wrexham co-owner received a lot of support from the fans.

The Eagles have won three NFL championships donning the Kelly green jersey. The team won the NFL Championship in 1948, 1949, and 1960. Rob McElhenney in a bid to bring back the glory days has made the consideration for the color change in jerseys.

Seems like his feelings have a logical reason and just maybe Kelly Green is actually a lucky color for the Eagles. It’s also possible that McElhenney himself is the lucky charm as his Wrexham women’s team too are showcasing some spectacular display.
